MVP PK beat Mazaalai 2-0 on Nuke (16-6) and Dust2 (16-9), to punch their ticket to the Asia Minor.

MVP PK, the tournament favorites, made it to the grand final through the upper bracket, after knocking down Japanese sides Updraft and Ignis, as well as the the other grand finalists, Mazaalai, without dropping a map.

Mazaalai beat local rivals The MongolZ and Absolute before losing to MVP PK. The Mongolian side, where several TheMongolz players now ply their trade, took out Ignis in the lower bracket final to go on to try and get revenge on MVP PK.

MVP PK didn’t drop a map during the closed qualifier

The first map, Nuke, kicked off with Mazaalai taking the pistol round on the attacking side, but once weapons were bought on both sides, it was MVP PK who took the lead, 3-2. After a back and forth, the map settled in favor of the defenders, as MVP PK were able to close out the half 10-5. Giving up only one round in the second half, the Koreans closed out their map pick, 16-6.

MVP PK then started the second map, Dust2, taking the lead on the CT side, with Seon-Ho "⁠xeta⁠" Son getting an ace on A to keep his team ahead, 3-1, after losing the first gun round. Mazaalai had a good streak mid-half, but it was once again MVP PK who were able to close it out at the half, albeit just barely, 8-7.

Having won the pistol round, the Korean team had all cylinders firing, once again dominating on the attacking side as Mazaalai scrambled. Giving up but two rounds in the second half, MVP PK closed it out to seal their pass to the Asia Minor, 16-9.
